No, read that again if you didn’t read it correctly – we’re not giving away a Guinea Pig. What Imean by the heading of this post is that I am going to be a Giveaway Guinea Pig! I thought it only right that if we’re mentioning a giveaway or competition on this site, then I should have tried to enter it myself, to see how easy it is/if there are any tricks to get you to sign up for anything.

So far today I’ve applied for my free copy of the Economist and of Kathy Lette’s new book, and I’ve tried to win a night for me and 5 friends to go and see Dirty Dancing and a £500 jewellery shopping spree! Oh, and I joined a “what’s on” website for my chance to win a 8GB iPod Touch. Fingers crossed! I’ll let you know how I get on!

Woohoo! I registered the domain and did the design months ago – and now I’ve finally had a spare weekend to put it all together! Well, I say “I” – mucho thanks must go to my lovely techy boyfriend for his techical wizardry – it’s a pretty neat system that checks if you submitted a competition and linked back to us, and then that sends emails to me and you accordingly. Makes my life a whole lot easier than a manual system!
